  It is inspiring to witness the multifaith synergy between the Mormons at their meeting house and the Sikhs at their temple across the road.

  Attended an interfaith Symposium at this church. Wonderful facility. Very spacious. And the people were very kind and hospitable too.

  Today a had a knock at my door tonight and it was two representatives of this church. I have TWO "no agents, peddlers of solicitors" signs at my door as I have a 4 year old Son with autism who takes up to an hour to calm down if he is woken up ahead of schedule or if he is startled by strangers (even strange voices). I angrily asked them if they could read English and told them about my special needs son. One of the young men (I didn't notice his name but wish I had so I could give him credit) was very apologetic, sincere and genuinely bothered by the fact that he could hear my son start crying as soon as spoke . The other (His name tag said Elder Barr) was grinning at me and shaking his head and gently laughing under his breath actually making a quiet "pfff" sound every time I used the word "autism" as I was angrily explaining my situation. This (rightfully so) made me extremely angry and I ask him if he liked making fun of handicapped kids. He responded with more of the same as I described above. I told them twice to get the f* off my steps (I think the respectful young man was so shocked by what was going on that he was too stunned to move) and the other just stood there laughing under his breathe. I stepped out onto the front steps and repeat a third time before they left. I am not a violent man but had to show extreme restraint in this situation. Never in 4 years have I met someone who laughed and my sons misfortune until now and I cannot ever remember being this angry. How does a Christian Church have someone like that representing it?! I guess The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is an organization that makes fun of Special Needs Children. What a classy organization...
