    Staples is an absolute joke. I hope that they have better customer service at different locations because this one in Abbotsford is horrendous. I recently bought a new laptop and had the unfortunate problem of a manufacturer defect ( one of the keys broke off ). The problem was this happened a little over 2 weeks after purchasing and was told that store policy is straight up 14 days. This was 3 days beyond that theshhold and this happened completely on its own , it was dropped or hit with anything , the laptop was barely used at this point. I was told by the store manager that I would have to buy a new machine because they couldn't sell this one ( if exchanged / returned ) to anyone else even ugh he was willing to give it back to me. My other option was sending it back to the manufacturer and have it fixed. After a lengthy heated discussion and him making a phone call , most likely to his boss , he was able to exchange it for me. Why did this have to take so long ? Why didn't staples just exchange it right away ? Why did I have to escalate the discussion so far to just to have them exchange it anyway ? After all that the second unit was was defective as well broken speaker. At this point I was just laughing so I brought that one back I was treated as if it was my fault again and that I was a just an inconvenience to them , not one apology was given. Not only was I going to upgrade to a much higher end unit I wasn't even offered anything else. I will never go back to this store again. I hope that this is read by management and is talked about at their meetings on how to not treat a customer, and used as a tool to learn and train their management better.

    I would give 0 if it was possible, horrible staff, snobby, wanted to purchase a laptop for my son was left standing while they had a social gathering amongst themselves. I had to help an older lady with questions about products because said employees were just standing there. I cant believe this place. Order online or better yet go to best buy, or mikes at least there you will get service that is better than this joke of a store.

    Doesn't matter which staples you go to. They are all garbage. It's unfortunate that they are the only office supply store around now. Nobody answers the phones... not even their head office which I was calling to lodge a complaint. I guess it just shows how poorly run the company is across the board from the top down. They never have stock, the staff can never find the items even when it says that they have them (at multiple locations this is the same problem), if you order online it takes months (you might as well use amazon)... it's ridiculous. If you can go anywhere else.... DO IT. Avoid this place at all costs.

    Horrible service/experience. Tried to get a basic card printed through online print services. Should have been a couple days. Phone after about 2 weeks - they hadn't done it because they apparently couldn't open the file (it worked fine online for me). Why didn't they contact me about this? Product says envelopes are included... guess what? No envelopes! Print quality? Poor! Have fun even trying to phone them and actually getting a person to pick up. Surprised Staples is even in business!
