Cheap place to workout. No frills. Once you sign up, customer service is gone.

Not 5/5 due to hours and slight cramping but commendable for what it does offer

Have recommended 2 people to join and staff were late for those appointments as well. Will not recommend anyone else.

While the hours are pretty limited, if you need weights [and not olympic clean-and-jerk then toss-it-on-the-ground style weights](they added a platform!!), this place is for you. After a pricey start-up fee, $15 a month gets you, for males, 8 dumbell benches, 2 flat and 1 incline barbell bench, 3 squat racks, and every other machine and cardio to cover the bases. If female, all that plus the She's Fit (female only) side of the gym.

Great inexpensive option for a workout. Membership is required, but there are drop in rates for friends. Overall good value, but the staff are unhelpful and notorious for standing around chatting amongst themselves and friends.

Machines could benefit from the staff attention (when not too busy chatting) to ensure a clean environment for clients.

Changeroom with lockers if you have a lock, nothing overnight, radio mix so bring headphones, small kinesthetic area with battle ropes and TRX if that's your jam.

This gym is the cheapest option in town for a membership rate. No contract which is a plus. The staff often just stand around at the counter and don't seem to engaged with what happens in the gym. The equipment is useful for the regular commuter crowd, but if you are a power user or heavy weight lifter, then this place isn't for you. They have heavier weights, just not enough of them. There is a woman's only section, but I'm a guy so I can't comment on that except to say that it does take up a disproportionate amount of real estate. I often find myself wondering if the women's only section is utilized enough to justify all that space. The co-ed section is very busy in the afternoons. If I wasn't partial to going to the gym in the morning then I probably wouldn't be a member here. Expect line-ups for the equipment and to work in with someone else. During orientation, the staff did not discuss or try to educate new members on gym etiquette, so as a result, many people don't follow (or are even aware of) good gym etiquette and the staff don't enforce it. Your mileage may vary. All in all, its good enough for what they are charging, but if the rates go up then I will look elsewhere.

Do not do the body assessment - they don’t keep it on file. And they don’t do measurements - only a weigh in and then they look at your blood pressure, fat analysis through the scale and hydration level. I think the assessment is just done to try to sell you on training.

Front desk is very disorganized but l liike the women’s area for working out. Other members are nice, polite. Like the quotes on the wall too.

A personal bonus is, while peak hours are busy, the place quiets down later or earlier in the day and it's pleasant being second story with so many windows to lighten the slightly cramped setup. Kudos for functionally fitting everything in but it's tight at times. Varied bars for vertical lifts, ez-grip barbells up to 110 and dumbbells in 2.5 increments till 30 then 5 till 90.

Good atmosphere. Lots of equipment options and not crammed full. Also offers a women's only area.

All the staff here are so nice and helpful. They are always friendly, upbeat and motivating. They have women-only and co-ed spaces. There are a variety of machines that seem to be well maintained, because there's never any broken ones on the floor. Temperature is always good. Lots of windows and light. The change rooms are clean and modern.

Better off buying a good scale and doing your own measurements so you can keep track of your progress.

They seem very concerned that whomever signed you up should do the assessment. Not sure what that is about.

If you make an appointment, expect them to forget, be late or help process new sign-ins before they get to your scheduled appointment.

Parking can be a nightmare directly in front of the club, but more than ample parking is available at the adjoining Canadian Tire parking lot.
