  So many colours! We're going to need to put more walls in our house. But seriously, knowledgeable staff and courteous treatment make for a great customer experience. This is our go to paint store.

  On my first visit I had a helpful associate who helped me narrow my many paint samples down to two. I purchased the small tester tubs of each and took several days to pick the right color. I went back in and bought a gallon then painted the room. I kept thinking the paint color looked a bit wrong but thought maybe it just needs a other coat or maybe it's because of the lighting. Finally I painted some of the original and realized they were in fact different colors. This is frustrating because now I have to go back to the store to get the correct color then repaint the room. The associates admitted the color was wrong and got me a gallon of the correct color. At no point did anyone apologize for the inconvenience or offer any kind of discount on the gallon or a refund on the samples (what's the point in spending $20 in samples if you get the wrong paint color and have to redo it?). Mistakes are easy to make but I thought what set places like Sherwin Williams apart from Home Depot is how they handle mistakes. The associates weren't rude, but very aloof. I'm not the kind of customer to throw a fit to get my way, but if they had made some kind of gesture of apology I might have continued shopping there.
